CEAT International was commissioned at Turino in Italy to manufacture cables for telephone and railways.

CEAT was founded in 1958 with its headquarters in Mumbai.

Research and Development unit was set up at company's Bhandup works. Various types of testing machines were installed in the laboratory

the RPG Group took over the control of CEAT Tyres of India

The company was rechristened as CEAT.

CEAT's logo was refreshed to align with its new vision.

Halol plant operations (Primarily Passenger and Truck Bus Radial plant) started.

Worldwide rights of CEAT acquired from Pirelli
